1. (Proper Noun-Common) a long bodied freshwater amphibian fish with scale but no fins. In Assam consumption of this fish is believed to lead to increase in hemoglobin content in blood. Found in the whole stretch from Pakistan to Myanmar. দীঘল শৰীৰ বিশিষ্ট সাপ-সদৃশ এবিধ উভচৰ মাছ। এই মাছ খালে শৰীৰত হিম`গ্লোবিনৰ মাত্ৰা বাঢ়ে বুলি অসমত বিশ্বাস কৰা হয়। পাকিস্তানৰ পৰা ম্যানমাৰলৈকে এই বৃহৎ অঞ্চলত ইয়াক পোৱা যায়।
